2). ^5 sqrt x + 1 = 3

3). 2/3 = 2 - 5x -3 over x-1

Comments

It appears some variables may be missing from the equations.  For example:

1^(2/3) = 1  And cannot =4.   Is there an 'x' missing here???  BruceS
