If 6 workers can clear 3300 acres of brush in 1 hour, how many acres could 8 workers clear in 2 hours?

So you can set up some ratios here. Knowing 6 workers can do 3300 acres in 1 hr. We will keep the 1 hr in mind and just double  our answer later for 2 hours.
 
So     3300 acres / 6 workers , we can simplify this to (by dividing both by 3) 1100 acres / 2 workers we now know that 2 works can clear 1100 acres in 1 hr. So now we can move on to 8 works by just multiply by 4.
 
so   1100 acres / 2 workers    * 4/4    =      4400 acres /  8 works in 1 hr.   Now you want 2 hours so remember to double  and you get 8800 acres.
