How do you find perimeter of a triangle with vertices AC(-6,7) BC(1,3) and CC(-2,-7)?

Have to find the length of each side
 
The coordinate should be:
 
  A ( -6, 7 )    B ( 1, 3 ) C ( -2, -7)
 
   Use distance formula :
 
    √[( XA - XB)^2 + ( YA - YB )^2]  for length of AB
 
   and do the same for AC and BC, then add all lengths to evaluate the perimeter.
