use Synthetic Division

(4x2 -2x +5 )/(x+2) = ?

For the systhetic division, x = -2.

-2 l 4      -2       5

l         -8      20

4    -10      25          therefore, Quotient  = 4x -10, and Remnent = 25.

As a result, (4x2 -2x +5 )/(x+2) = (4x -10) + 25/(x+2).
