If you can give an example from the book or worksheet, it will be much easier to answer your question. I also have not heard the term "6 moves long," but I think it might relate directly to a classroom activity, not necessarily a common math term.
While I haven't heard that phrase "six moves long" I would guess that the teacher means answer with six steps to get the answer.
