It's unclear what the "X" is for, but the first line "m/7-5=92" can be solved to determine the value of "m".

m/7−5=92

m/7 = 92 + 5 =  97

m = 97 * 7 = 679

Checking the work, you can plug the answer into the original equation:
679/7−5 = 92
97 − 5 = 92
Looks good.
Solving implies there is only one unknown.  Since this is pre-algebra, I am assuming the x was a mistake since you already have an unknown in the problem (m).

m/7 - 5 = 92 (don't know if X is part of the problem)

m/7 - 5 + 5 = 92 + 5 (add five to both sides)

m/7 = 97

Multiple by 7 on each side

7 * m/7 = m
97 * 7 = 679

so m = 679  DON'T FORGET TO DOUBLE CHECK YOUR WORK, PUT THE ANSWER BACK INTO THE EQUATION.

679/7 - 5 = 92
97 - 5 = 92 TRUE, answer checks out.  I think this is what you were looking for.

Comments

This answer is based on the 92x being INCORRECT.  Because this is pre-algebra, I believe since it says "solve" they would not include something that CAN be solved.  "m" is the unknown.
Hi Andrea;

m/7-5=92 X
I am assuming this is...
(m/7)-5=92x
I do not know exactly what you mean by "solve".
I will do what I can...
(m/7)-5=92x
Let's add 5 to both sides...
5+(m/7)-5=92x+5
m/7=92x+5
Let's multiply both sides by 7...
7(m/7)=7(92x+5)
m=644x+35

Does this help?  If not, please let me know.
