(2xy^{6})^{5} Oct 23 | Jeanetta from Cleveland, OH | 2 Answers | 0 Votes Mark favorite Subscribe Comment
You have to raise everything within the parenthesis to the 5th power. 2^{5}x^{5}(y^{6})^{5} = 32x^{5}y^{5x6} *Remember to multiply exponents It becomes 32x^{5}y^{30} I hope this helps. Oct 23 | Rashonda J. Comment
Hi Jeanetta, (2xy^{6})^{5 }is the same thing as (2)^{5} * (x)^{5} * (y^{6})^{5}. Therefore: (2)^{5} * (x)^{5} * (y6)^{5} = 32 * (x^{5}) * (y^{6*5}) = 32x^{5}y^{30} (* is multiplication) Hope you find this helpful! Oct 23 | Efe M. Comment
