Simplify 4 square root 3?

1 Answer

If you have 4√3, and you have an exponent key (yx), enter it as 4*3(1/2) [4 * 3 yx (1/2)] . Make sure you put parentheses around the 1/2, so that it calculates that first, then raises 3 to that result.

The square root is the same as raising something to the 1/2 (one-half) power. Similarly, a cube root is to the 1/3 (one-third) power, etc
