If 5 workers in 8 hours can do 5 tons; how long will it take 3 workers to do 3 ton?

Think of this question in terms of Man-Hours, so 5 workers taking 8 hours each equals 40 Man-Hours to do 5 tons...so  40hour=5tons....divide both sides by 5 and we get 8hours = 1ton...therefore 3 workers working how many hours will produce 3 tons....3(t)=3tons(8hours/1ton)....3t=24...t=8hours
