I'm a former high school and middle school math teacher, who decided to stop teaching and open a needle arts shop in Lake Geneva, WI. I have taught from basic math up to Geometry. Over the years I have learned a few "tricks" to making math easier. I'd be happy to teach them to you! I can work on a specific topic, say the quadratic formula, or work on more general information, like times tables.

Even though we don't all learn math the same way, we all use math everyday!

Not only do I LOVE math, I'm good at grammar as well - I guess it's that logical brain stuff.

Sewing

I have been sewing since I was in elementary school. Before my kids were born, I made most of my own clothes. I have sewn for my children, but they are now too "cool" to wear mommy made clothes! My oldest did consent for me to make her junior prom dress a few years back.

Needlework

I have been doing various types of needle arts since I was in elementary school. Although I can do needlepoint and crewel, I prefer knitting and counted cross stitch. I currently own a needle arts shop in Lake Geneva, WI.
