As an educator for 20 years in public schools, I've had an opportunity to become familiar with the state core standards and many district curriculums. As the Reading Specialist in Union Grove, South Milwaukee, and Shorewood, I've implemented many academic interventions for accelerated learning growth. Having a Masters degree in Education and an additional 66 credits in graduate learning has helped me to become a teacher with a "toolbox" of knowledgeable methods for learning. The opportunities for integration of technology throughout learning has most recently inspired my seeking an Instructional Designer certification this year. I like to apply technology and software, such as Microsoft Office applications, in Math and Science learning. My tutoring methods are based on the "best practices" of learning and are backed by research. I would appreciate 24 hours notice if you would need to cancel our session. I am available on Skype and will be living in the Racine area this summer. Tutoring sessions can begin in the early evenings or late afternoons at this time via Skype, and weekends at a local library in the /Racine Milwaukee area.
