Patience and understanding are a well trained tutor's most valuable attributes. After tutoring math for over a decade I have learned, from my pupils as well as myself, to approach difficult math with a team oriented strategy. Because, without a symbiotic method in place, the likelihood of learning is far less. My name is Phill and look forward to helping kids with math while they teach me to be a better tutor.
The acute ability of listening is extremely important in the science of teaching/learning as well. This is because learning methods are as unique as individuals themselves and require studied observation/communication in which is best achieved by listening to your pupils amidst struggle or success.
These are the conclusions that I have gathered through my teaching experiences and have learned extensively through my pupils.
With this method, I have helped numerous people of every age group, ranging from pre-teen to 50 year old college students, discover their math aptitude and become proficient in college tech math, pre-algebra,algebra 1 and 2, trigonometry, geometry, as well as pre-calculus.
Lastly, I cannot emphasize enough that every person I've ever tutored to their benefit was because of their diligence and commitment.I am just another mind in which synergy can be perpetuated alongside yours.
