I just graduated in Spring 2012 from UW-Parkside with a Business Administration degree, Accounting and Finance tracks, and Economics minor. I promised to myself to become a better, more patient, more understanding, more compassionate, more approachable tutor than those I have met. I always loved to sharing knowledge, and tutoring is the perfect opportunity for me to do just that.
I have worked as a tutor with UW-Parkside Tutoring Center since Spring 2009. I chose to be a tutor because of my own previous mediocre experiences with tutors. In the process, I strive to instill hope for students who feel that learning is no longer fun. Learning is fun. We just all need a little help sometimes.
Not only do I try to make learning fun, but I also try to help students obtain their own independence. I am just here to "open eyes" about the value of learning, not do the learning for students. It is much more fun and worthwhile doing the learning yourself. Plus, you feel much better about it as you continue to develop your independence.
My next goals in career and life are to pass the CPA exam, find work in an accounting firm, and enjoy life with a little karaoke every now and then.
Learning can be fun, despite any subject. I'm here to help you see how fun it can be.
So Call Me, Maybe!
