In college I served as president of the Student Art Organization, was a member of the Honors Society, and worked as a Peer Academic Adviser. I was nominated to be a tutor for numerous classes, college algebra and biology among the subjects.
I believe that a strong rapport with students, active listening, and creatively and individually tailored tutoring plans are essential components to successful tutoring.
I'm passionate about encouraging self-directed learning, learning through play and project-based education. I'm tech savvy, an experienced public speaker, and incredibly creative! My mission in life is to empower and inspire people to reach their goals and learn with pleasure and success.
