Algebra 1
I have completed high-school level algebra courses, and I have tutored students in the topic in the past. I have also tutored calculus and statistics, which require algebra as a foundation.

English
I'm a native English speaker, and I have experience in the health industry, which exposed me to medical terminology. Further, I completed a college-level course in technical writing.
General Computer
I'm generally well versed with Windows PC computers, able to clean up viruses, malware, etc., improve efficiency, install/uninstall software, install Windows, manage documents, modify settings, and so forth.
I also have experience working with Linux, in particular, Debian GNU/Linux. I have installed it a number of times and am familiar with some basic commands.
Geometry
I have completed high-school level geometry courses, and I have tutored students in the topic in the past. I have also tutored calculus, which requires geometry as a foundation.
Grammar
I completed college English courses, including a course specifically focused on grammar. I also learned a great deal about grammar by studying Spanish, also during college, which required a more academic approach to grammar, since it is not my native language. Further, I completed a college-level course on technical writing.
HTML
I wrote my first webpage in high school, and have since written many websites. Lately, I have been using online tools for web development that automate much of the content. Nonetheless, I can still dive into the code to tweak it as needed.
Microsoft Access
I have experience creating and modifying tables, queries, forms, and reports. I have also used MS Access with other software, like SAS. Recently, I started a recipe database for my wife to help her manage recipes and weekly meal plans. Here is a blog post about it:

Microsoft Excel
I have worked with Excel for data entry, data manipulation, and report presentation, as well as manipulating Excel data in other tools, such as SAS and Access.
Microsoft Word
I have written complex documents using Word, including the use of tables of content, bookmarks, graphs from Excel, and many other advanced features. I am also familiar with the new "ribbon" in the latest versions.
Music History
As part of my degree in music, I studied the history of western music for 3 semesters, using the Norton anthology. Part of this study was to recognize music based on small samples.
Music Theory
During college I studied music theory for two years as a part of the music program. Additionally, I completed a course in Form and Analysis and 2 years of aural training.
Piano
I have a bachelor's degree in music, in which I focused on piano performance. I also took a course in piano pedagogy, which is the study of teaching piano. I performed as a soloist a number of times and had my own recital, too.
Prealgebra
I have completed high-school level algebra courses, and I have tutored students in the topic in the past. I have also tutored calculus and statistics, which require algebra as a foundation.
Psychology
I have a degree in psychology in which I focused on human learning and research, including statistics and research methods.
Reading
I love to read! Some of my favorite books are very long books, including Name of the Rose, Les Miserables, and War and Peace. I have a variety of tactics to aid in comprehension, as well as strategies for remembering events, people, and places. I have also completed a college-level course in technical writing, which also aided in reading technical material.
SAS
I have advanced experience working with SAS, especially Base SAS and the macro language. I have a great deal of experience with the DATA step and PROC SQL (and SQL in general), as well as the following procedures, in order of most used: SQL, SORT, APPEND, CONTENTS, DATASETS, IMPORT, PRINT, FORMAT, EXPORT, TRANSPOSE, REPORT, FREQ, CATALOG, and COMPARE. How do I know this? I scanned my code with a SAS macro!
Spelling
I am a native English speaker and a naturally good speller. My experience in college and the health industry exposed me to a greater variety of words, including research and medical terminology. Further, I completed a college-level course on technical writing.
SPSS
I have used SPSS for research in college and professionally. Some of the analyses I have run include basic correlations, t-tests, and ANOVAs, as well as some more complex analyses like binary logistic regressions.
SQL
I have used SQL within SAS for a number of years, and I also have experience using SQL in other tools such as Oracle SQL Developer. I am familiar with the data manipulation aspects such as querying, creating tables and views, creating indexes, and summarizing data.
Statistics
I have completed courses in statistics and research methods, as well as calculus. I am experienced with the application of statistics in the fields of psychology, education, and health care.
Web Design
I've designed several websites, and lately I've started to rely on online GUIs to do most of the work for me. However, I still manage a few websites and modify them by hand.
Additionally, I have Google Apps, which provides email and other services through Google. I have also modified advanced DNS setups.
Writing
I have additional expertise in technical writing, including completion of a writing course that focused on technical writing, familiarity with APA article guidelines, and completion of an honors thesis, which won the undergraduate writing award.
