I am a certified teacher in elementary education with a passion for math. Although math is my strongest subject, I enjoy teaching all core subjects.
I am a firm believer in understanding the why and how of a problem and not just “do it this way.” Whenever possible, I prefer to use hands on activities versus reading from a book. I am most willing to prepare materials for lessons as long as I have been given a starting point.
I do believe that there must be dedication on both the student’s and teacher’s part in order for learning to take place. I believe that education is a blessing and not a curse. Although at times understanding may be difficult, I believe in making the learning experience beneficial and enjoyable!
