Born and raised in Germany, I developed interest in the French language during a long summer vacation in a village near Nancy, France, at age 15. After completion of my undergraduate studies of German and French Language and Literature, I passed the test for the German Academic Exchange Service in conjunction with the Goethe-Institute of Nancy-Metz, France, and taught German at a French High-School for 2 years. I obtained an International Business Degree designed for the European Common Market (Europakauffrau/ Fremdsprachenkorrspontentin), while I lived on the border between Germany and France for several years. In the US, I worked as a Tour Guide and Tourism Agent in Chicago, and as an independent instructor for a private language school. I am fluent in English, and experienced in teaching German and French to all ages, levels, and in various fields, such as conversation, business, or literature.
