Some information about me: I am a highly motivated special education teacher and reading teacher. I have more than 8 years of practical experience and hands on skills in the care and teaching of regular education and special education students, grades K5-12. In addition to exceptional teaching expertise, I'm also acknowledged for being resourceful, adaptable, and self-directed with the ability to handle even the most challenging situations as a result of a well-developed behavior plan. I believe all students can learn if they are provided with a positive and knowledgeable teacher.

My delivery model for instruction is a hybrid of face to face student/teacher time with whole class, differentiated discussion and interest -based small groups built at their instructional level. I use a variety of activities based on learning styles that maximizes student growth while minimizing student's weaknesses. My curriculum is mixture of core content academics and affective strategies; in concert with each student's ability level.

I enjoy working with others of all ages, interests, and abilities levels. Instructing and helping others in any capacity is rewarding not only to the learner, but to the educator as well.

Thank you for your consideration.

Educationally,
Holly
