I recently graduated from the University of California - Berkeley with a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. My emphasis was in genetics. I have taken many courses in biology, physics and chemistry, and have a strong grasp of mathematics and English as well. My priority is helping your student attain a better grade in their classes, but I place a strong emphasis on increasing understanding rather than teaching through rote learning.
I have a lot of experience working with younger students - I tutored during college, I edited essays and research papers, and I mentored at an elementary school during my spare time.
In high school, I graduated with high honors while participating in extra-curricular activities like marching band and the school's environmental club.
