I have a degree in Education with double majors in Psychology and Sociology and a minor in Journalism.
I have been an entrepreneur for decades, not because that was my first choice, but because that allowed me to be home every day my 2 sons arrived home from school. I have always put education high on my priority list and my son's achievements through life have born the fruits of that desire!
My eldest has an advanced degree in International Business and my younger, who was reading from 5 years of age, has chosen to pursue a musical career.
I have helped countless students from K though the adult professional learn their subjects and improve their understanding... and consequently, their grades.
I pace myself, and the students learning, according to the capabilities of the student...ever vigilant on the end goals!
Everyone has their most successful way of learning (sight, sound, repetition, reward, etc.) and I always incorporate that into the process.
Every single person is capable of learning and training their mind to learn. I see it as my mission to help them bridge gaps and understand that they are capable of more than they might think.
