I am a former math teacher with 7 years of experience teaching middle and high school. I have 18 years of tutoring experience with students of all ages, including adults. I have a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics and a Masters Degree in Math Education. I have worked with students to prepare for many different standardized exams, including the SAT and GRE. I like to use real-life examples and games whenever possible.

Algebra 1

I taught middle school and high school for seven years. For six of those seven years, I taught at least one Algebra 1 class. I taught four Algebra 1 classes during my last year of full-time teaching.

Algebra 2

I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Master's Degree in Secondary Math Education. I taught Algebra 2 in high school for 2 years and I have tutored many college students in College Algebra (which typically covers the same topics as Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus).

Geometry

I taught high school Geometry for 5 years. During that time, I worked in 3 schools in 3 different cities, all with a very different student population. So I have experience teaching Geometry to students at every level.

Elementary Math

Before becoming a middle school and high school teacher, I worked as a para-educator in elementary schools for 3 years. During that time, I was responsible for creating math materials for several classrooms and I also worked one-on-one with students to help them with math assignments.

Regents

I worked in the NYC School system for 2.5 years. During that time, much of my time was spent helping students prepare for the Regents Math A exam. I taught 3 classes of Math A and one remedial Math A class for students who had already taken the exam and failed.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
