Hello, students and parents! My name is Sharon and I hold a Master's degree in Counseling from TNU in Nashville, TN. All of my graduate coursework was in psychology. I have more than 10 years' experience in the mental and behavioral health field. I have been a successful para-educator for a 2nd grade boy who had physical, educational and emotional developmental delays. I am a published author. I have assisted students with writing and public speaking. I've even had students win positions in their school government after helping them with preparation and delivery of their speeches. I also enjoy learning and instructing Bible. I have worked with numerous age groups in a variety of settings: classrooms, group and individual tutoring and in church work. I have also taught ESL to a Brazilian family. This was a wonderful experience. My passion is learning and teaching psychology. My past students enjoy my style and I make learning fun and interesting! I will teach you better ways to comprehend and retain your material. Learning doesn't have to be dull! I can't wait to meet you and get started!
