I am a graduate from the Department of Physics
, University of Washington, Seattle where I studied surface phenomenon at cryogenic temperatures. I have prior industrial experience in the field of materials synthesis (compound metal hydrides, and semiconductors) for various renewable energy applications. I have also earned graduate degrees in Physics from Wayne State University and in cryogenic and chemical engineering
from premier academic institutions in India.
I have been engaged in teaching introductory physics labs as a graduate student. After earning my doctorate, I have been teaching introductory and upper level physics and mathematics
courses in local universities, including the University of Washington. I am well versed in algebra
, linear algebra
, differential equations
, and introductory and advanced physics.
Over the next few weeks I may be offering assistance with chemical engineering, and probability
Professionally, I am involved in consultancy related to engineering thermodynamics
of processes, and thermodynamics of non-equilibrium processes.
I look forward to opportunities to discuss the subject matter in which you need additional help. I would appreciate it if you let me know what topic or specific problem you would like to discuss. Provide as much detail as possible. I am willing to teach in areas in Pierce County (near Tacoma, Fife) and South King County (Federal Way, Auburn).
I consider learning as a process. My role as a tutor will not be to provide you with ready answers but help you gather the technical skills required to think through a problem. I will help you understand the background theory or principle and systematically as the right questions and solve the problem. If time permits, we can also solve some rigorous problems that will stretch your thinking.
Thanks for the opportunity. Look forward to hearing from you.
