Hello math students!

I know math can often be taught in a way that feels hopeless and overwhelming. As your tutor I'll show you that learning math is not only doable but it can be fun! Once you start understanding the 'how's and 'whys' you'll start solving harder and harder problems and your confidence will build :)

When I was in high school, I was nicknamed 'hero' in my math classes due to my ability to explain difficult math concepts to my classmates.
I have extensive experience in

I've tutored students in multiplication, calculus, and everything in between. I teach with optimism, creativity, and can tailor my teaching style into what works for YOU! I love math and empowering others to learn math too.

If your looking for a fun, creative, and EFFECTIVE way to improve your math skills- contact me for a tutoring session and you won't be disappointed.

To give you an example of my creative methods of teaching - I once taught math in an inner city New York 2nd grade class room. I took a class of 15 students that didn't know how to multiply. I noticed they loved to compete and run around. So- I split the class in two. I created an obstacle course. At the end of it there was a multiplication problem. I said 'take the first number. Draw that many circles. Take the second number- put that many dots in each circle. Now count the dots and that's the answer.' In 1 hour- every kid could multiply, many kids figured out short cuts, and one girl even came in the next day with a page full of every combination of 1x 1 all the way to 20 x 20! The point is- we learned while having fun, and skipped the boring lectures and worksheets.
