I'm a recent graduate of Tufts University, in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics.
I have a few years of experience tutoring at the college level in Math and Science (diff. eq., multi-var. calc., physics). I also have experience teaching Arduino software and hardware. I'm very interested in continuing with these subjects as well as expanding to history, other sciences (chemistry), and software with which I am adept (MATLAB, Excel, LabView).
My teaching style is very relaxed, but to the point. I want to help you understand the material, so I'm pretty heavy on communication (me lecturing you doesn't help). I handle most material on a case-by-case basis - i.e. we talk about the material, I identify a difficulty in understanding, I think of an explanation, I try to determine that the material is understood. Worked examples are very helpful, so I try to use them when possible.
I really look forward to working with some new people. I hope I can be of assistance for you.
