Due to my academic achievements, I entered the University of Washington as a full-time college student at the age of 14 years old from the nationally famous Early Entrance Program and was featured on a Nightline ABC episode because of this program. Since then, I have enrolled in a variety of classes ranging from advanced English, to physics (mechanics, electromagnetism, and quantum physics), organic chemistry, biochemistry, advanced history courses, and a great deal of biology courses. I am currently entering my 5th year of my undergraduate pursuing an Honors Degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology with a minor in History. For a full range of topics that I have been educated in, feel free to email me for more information.
Academics aside, I am a very gregarious and kind-hearted person. For the past 3 years, I have been a First Years Program Leader on campus, essentially guiding freshmen through the various challenges and concerns they have upon entering college. I have taught at a "Read 'n' Lead" program at my local library where I read to and helped elementary school students improve their reading. Most recently, I spent a whole week on an Alternative Spring Break trip in a town with a population of only around 5000 teaching high school students how to construct their own creative writing stories.
As a tutor, I will not only strive to be thoroughly-versed and prepared for each lesson, I will look into additional materials that might aid with the educational process and also take your child's learning habits into consideration to make each lesson not only educational, but effective and interesting for the student as well.
