My son really loved his first tutoring session with Emily. We are looking forward to many many more! He is comfortable with her and her style and is interested in the books he picked out with her.
Our daughter is very bright but struggles with spelling. Before working with Emily she was completely resistant to even trying to study her spelling words. Working with Emily has changed her perspective. She now sees that she can succeed at spelling, even if it takes her more effort than other subjects. Emily has made a personal connection with her, she looks forward to her spelling sessions and she is (almost) happy to study spelling at home.
