I was born in Fujisawa City in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan (Located an hour outside of Tokyo). I have lived in Seattle since 1990 with my loving husband. I worked for United Airlines as a in-flight interpreter for 3.5 years. Prior to that I worked for a Japanese insurance company. In my youth, I was a Japanese calligraphy champion in my prefecture as well as a skilled basketball player. My hobbies include swimming, long walks with my Golden Retriever Hiro, cooking, reading, traveling the world, and spending time with my three wonderful children. Three of my children have taken Japanese classes at the high school and college level and I have personally tutored each one of them to success. I am happy to help your child or whomever in all levels of Japanese. If a resume is needed, please contact me and I'll be happy to send one.
