Here's a little bit about me: I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, and at the age of 5 was diagnosed with ADD. Instead of being medicated, my mother told my teachers to just give me more homework. At the age of 7, I was tested and my teachers discovered that I was gifted. I started attending a gifted school in the areas of math and science
and was given the task of being a helper in my regular classes. In high school I took AP classes and was very competitive academically. High school, the school counselors asked me to tutor a few failing students since I had taken all required math classes by the time I was a sophomore. I have been tutoring ever since. I am open to doing Skype/Facetime tutoring sessions in addition to conventional face to face tutoring.
Regardless of students' learning challenges, I can help pave the way for academic success and skills that last a lifetime.
