I am currently finishing my Masters in Economics. During my years in college I have learned how to be a great student and how to excel in higher education. I have over 4 years of experience in preparing and executing lesson plans, creating and proctoring exams by means of lectures, group discussions, and quizzes. I have assisted professors in developing and refining their lesson plans, grade scales, and teaching strategies. I have also been responsible for teaching all levels of coursework to include introductory and graduate level business, economics, and math classes. I also have experience in coaching high school students in college prep and college seniors in graduate school prep.

Public Speaking

I have done many public speaking events during my business degree and teaching courses. I have experience giving lectures to 40-50 students at a time as well as doing test reviews with over 100 students. I also served on the Graduate Student Association (GSA) at the University of Nevada, Reno. As a member of the GSA, I was tasked with giving committee reports to the association and delivering funding proposals.

Econometrics

For part of my Masters program in Economics, I was required to take 2 advanced level Econometrics courses and I received an A in both.

Linear Algebra

I received an A in Math 330 (Linear Algebra) during my math minor. I was able to use the knowledge learned in this course to help others in courses that use linear algebra like Econ 702 and Econ 704 (Game Theory and Advanced Microeconomics).

AFOQT

I have taken the AFoQT as part of my officer package in the Nevada Air National Guard. I scored in the top 5 percentile on the quantitative portion. With my scores, I qualified for all positions in the military.

STATA

I have used STATA 8,10, and 12 during my Economics Masters degree.
