My favorite program in CS is Illustrator, and I use it for most things people would grab a pencil and paper for. I am great at turning sketches and photos into vector art, and am up to date on current design trends.
Regularly helping my classmates with general Illustrator usage, as well as cleaning up and formatting their files so they would print correctly was part of my everyday life in school.
I am confident that I can help you learn Illustrator, or upgrade your Illustrator skills.
While the Lightroom interface can be daunting at first, editing in Lightroom is considerably easier than editing in photoshop. I can help you have better photos right away. Does your subject appear dark against a super bright background? I can help with that as well as numerous other things. Photos you thought were unsalvageable can be salvaged.
Lightroom also helps you to catalog and organize all of your photos, and does so in a more efficient way than other programs. I can help you get your files in a logical order and in a way they won't eat up your entire computer.
I have been using Photoshop for basic photo editing and touch ups for over 15 years. I updated my skills recently and I have taken several college courses in Adobe Photoshop CS5.5. These courses included advanced masking and compositing. I regularly would help my classmates with tips and tricks to edit their own photos. All of my friends and family use me as their unofficial photo editor.
I have had a mac as the primary computer in my household since 1992.
I specialize in conversational and travel Spanish. I have taught immersion style Spanish at Berlitz, and tutored beginning college level students in Spanish.
My accent in Spanish is considered "Coastal South American" Also, I speak at a nearly native level without an American accent.
