Hello!
My name is Rachel and I currently work as an accountant in downtown Seattle for a mid-size company. I graduated from the University of Washington with a Business Administration degree with focus in Accounting.
I worked in public accounting for 5 years and am a Certified Public Accountant. I have experience with accounting (auditing, basic tax, financial statement, general ledger, etc), mathematics, presentation preparation and public speaking. I am proficient in Microsoft Office suite, QuickBooks and other accounting software.
While working in public accounting, I was considered the go to person for training of new individuals and continued to be a resource to them through their careers through questions related to career development, accounting auditing and finding work life balance. In my current roll I continue to be a resource to the company for accounting, Microsoft Office, etc.
