I have more than 10 years of experience teaching youth and adults, both in English and SPANISH, primarily in various fields of biology. I have taught marine biology on sailboats in Washington and the Caribbean, terrestrial ecology in field camps from California to Alaska, as well as physiology as a graduate TA at UW.
My Spanish fluency was gained after studying abroad in Spain in college, followed by working for three years in Ecuador, then working for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration-NOAA, managing a small marine reserve in Puerto Rico during the last 2 years.
In addition to teaching it, my academic studies were in biology and ecology. As an undergrad at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, I studies environmental science, focusing on Latin America, and my graduate studies at University of Washington, focused on marine ecology.
I have also tutored the Math section of the GRE exam, because I was lucky enough to get a perfect score!
Let me know if you need help with Spanish, Biology, Math sections on GREs or SATs, and I can help you out.
Best of luck!
