Hello, my name is Matt and I am currently perusing a Masters in Education with a focus on K-8 education. I hope in the not so near future to teach Middle School history and language arts, but I have a passion for learning in all subjects. I would be providing at-home help to students from all ages, but my focus is really in K-8 education. I also have a Bachelors in History from the University of Washington and would be very comfortable giving advice to high school and middle school students with questions about higher education.

I also have a passion for sports. I've played a variety of sports well through high school and had a great time as the assistant coach for the Whitman Middle school cross country last year.

I have successfully passed the West E Washington State Elementary endorsement exams. I also have completed four quarters of a Masters in Ed degree with a teaching endorsement. I have worked on my reflection after completion of assignments and exams. This meta-cognition has helped greatly in elevating the level of comprehension and in my study skills. I feel that I can help my students achieve this double loop reflection that is crucial in achieving academic excellence.
