Hello, I am from Beijing, China. I have a Bachelor's degree from University of International Business and Economics, a top ranking university in China, and I have been in the US since 2009. I currently work as an interpreter. I speak standard Chinese Mandarin, and I taught English in China before coming to the States, where I now teach my American friends Chinese, too. I know the differences between English and Chinese well enough that I will always be able to explain well and get my students to understand better when a problem occurs.

When I was in Beijing, I was a tutor for the American exchange students in my university with The Beijing Center program. My students were sophomore and senior students from Saint Louis University (MO) and Loyola University (MD). They were beginner level. We practiced Chinese speaking and reading -- the practical, everyday, daily Chinese people would actually encounter in China. When the semester ended, they were able to communicate in basic Chinese (e.g., shopping, ordering in a restaurant, traveling) with no problem.

So, if you are interested in learning Chinese Mandarin, whether spoken or written, I will do a great job to make sure you get there without too much frustration. China is a beautiful place to visit, and the culture always has something amazing to offer.

Chinese

I am from Beijing, China. I graduated from one of the best schools in China- University of International Business and Economics. I majored in Business English and I have a Bachelor's Degree. I taught English while I was in China and I came here in 2009 and currently work as an interpreter for Chinese mandarin. My language class is always fun and you won't find it as hard to learn Chinese as you'd imagined. That's my promise. :)

Fitness

I am a Zumba instructor. I got certified in 2011. I love dancing and fun workouts and Zumba is definitely the best of both worlds.
