Having over 20 years in the field of Wildlife & Wilderness Photography, Adobe, Editing and Publishing.
It's exciting teaching students how to manage their camera, the art of seeing through the lens and making sense of the technicals to do so.
I have learned many things over the years from teaching photography. Photography is both craft and art. Craft, is the f-stops and shutter speeds, understanding metering and just how you see translates into the image outcome. It is knowing how the camera, lens, sensor see differently than the human eye. Art is the seeing and feeling. Both are important, but it is the seeing and feeling which makes the difference.
I enjoy teaching in the field and the digital dark room, with years of experience to gently guide your interests. The craft and art of photography, to get the most from your equipment and experience. I do my very best to simplify the language of digital.
Weather your using free computer image software, or Adobe, I teach digital flow to print practices.
Basic to advanced instruction.
For the beginner student or one who is ready to move up to the next level on their creative journey.
"If we do our job the viewer sees and feels the image."
