I am a former high school science teacher. Throughout my teaching career, I have found that students learn most effectively when they have one on one learning experiences with an individual knowledgeable in both the subject area and how a student learns. I am qualified to provide those experiences for middle and high school students in the sciences. Because each person learns differently, I tailor the learning experience to fit the individual - every time. My priority is finding a student's strengths and helping them understand concepts using the learning method that is most effective for them, as well as helping them develop new learning strengths and skills.
I have three years of experience at the middle and high school level teaching physical science, biology, and chemistry and have taught environmental science at a community college. I have also tutored in chemistry (high school) and biology (college level). My content and teaching knowledge is based on a solid education including an undergraduate degree in biology, a Master in Teaching degree, and a Master in Biology teaching degree, as well as numerous post-graduate supplemental college courses.
