I have taught a dozen quarters of organic chemistry lab at the University of Washington. I also have eight years of experience doing top-level research chemistry in some of the finest institutions. Most of my experience is in organic synthesis and pharmaceutical chemistry. Although, I also have experience with inorganic synthesis: working on a project to store hydrogen for the hydrogen car. I took AP Chemistry, Calculus and Physics in high school and scored a 5 on each AP exam. I took though Calculus 4 in college in addition to a course-load that was heavy in human biology. I tutored for a year during college. I received many complements on my teaching from the support staff at UW; they were continually surprised at the knowledge and composure exhibited by my students. I am now studying at Bastyr University to become a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. I am sociable and a good person. I try to teach understanding of the concepts and strategies for problem-solving. I am understanding, easy-going and difficult to frustrate.
