I have taught English for three years in Seoul, South Korea to all ages of students, ranging from elementary school children to businessmen. I have worked as both a teacher and a tutor so I am familiar with both individual and group methods of teaching. I am confident in my ability to communicate effectively with students and find ways of articulating my thoughts, even across language barriers. I can teach grammar, phonics, reading, writing, listening comprehension, spelling, reading comprehension and vocabulary.

I am also a skilled test taker and can help with study tips. I have taken the GRE and SAT so I have a firm group on the verbal sections of both tests.

I have two degrees - English and Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. I graduated with highest honors and in the Psi Chi Honor Society.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
