Hello!
I am currently a graduate student at Seattle Pacific University working on my MA in TESOL, and have over 4 years of English teaching and tutoring experience.
I have experience teaching students from age 5 to adult. I've taught beginners to very advanced English students, and everyone in between. I've also taught one-on-one sessions, small groups, and classes of up to 20 students, so I am open to any group of students at any age and any English level.
I have also tutored English students in America, as well as taught English and French in Senegal for 5 months.
I believe that there's no point in studying English if you aren't able to speak it. I focus a lot on conversation English. This is very helpful for students, especially shy students, to become more comfortable and confident with their English skills. Plus, the more you speak English the more you'll realize how much you actually know.
In addition to teaching English, I also have experience proofreading academic papers and other documents. Many Korean teachers had me proofread and edit their papers before sending them to be published. Other types of proofreading and editing I've done include: country-wide standardized tests, resumes, and professional letters/emails.
