Hi, my name is Frank and I have tutored math for ITT Technical Institute, helping many students who were having trouble with grasping the concepts involved with their technical mathematics courses. I know it can be difficult to understand at times I've been there, in junior high I needed tutoring myself. I was failing my math course and was behind every other student in the class, I was dead last. I went everyday for tutoring afterschool until finally it clicked, that light came on and I went on to become the best student in the class and I never turned back, I'll never forget that teacher, Mr. Z, I owe him a debt of gratitude.
I went on to get A's in all of my math course up through high school and college. My math background includes pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Analytical Trigonometry, pre-Calculus, and up through mid level Calculus. So as a student I understand the difficulties you may be going through and I can help. Math isn't about memorizing formulas, it's about fostering an understaning of the concepts by laying down a solid foundation of the fundamentals and then building upon your knowledge from there, you need to know where you're coming from to know where you're going. Math is fun, failing to do this is when math gets difficult and unpleasent. Being successful at math is all in the way that you approach it, and having to had learn this for myself in order for me to become so good at math puts me in a position to be so good at helping others who are having trouble with math. So if you are a student having trouble with math, yes, I can help you, like I said, I've been there myself.
