For over a decade, Suzanne S. has been passionate about mastering the art of rhetoric and teaching strategies for effective communication.
As a former trial attorney, she is an expert in giving oral presentations both inside and outside of the courtroom. Her extensive experience in maintaining composure under high-stress situations has proven to be an invaluable asset for public speech consulting. She now devotes her time to coaching professionals and elevating clients' careers.
Suzanne's public speaking experience formally began with her position as a debate team leader. She competed and ranked first place for her oratorical and dramatic interpretation skills in various regional, state, and national qualifying competitions. After only two years of membership in the National Forensic League, she reached the status of Outstanding Distinction. Prior to entering law school at the University of Washington, Suzanne served as a judge for debate tournaments and was given the opportunity to become a debate coach.
Before discovering her passion for speech, Suzanne performed competitively as a classical pianist. Her experiences performing on stage and on public radio enabled her to realize the power of communicating without words. She draws upon her performing arts background to teach her students how to overcome stage-fright and to connect with an audience through confident body language, eye-contact, and poise. Suzanne's combined knowledge of speech and physical presence has enabled her to win events including a local pageant.
Suzanne resides with her husband in Seattle, Washington, but her coaching extends to clients worldwide using Skype technology. She consults with individuals from major corporations, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations including:
