I am a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Washington. I am studying bioengineering and hope to focus my undergraduate research on cardiac therapy. After I graduate, I plan on obtaining my M.D. In my free time, I enjoy playing hockey, working out, and any kind of water sports.
I understand that homework and exams are stressful and that everyone learns differently. I always try to find out how a student learns before I can teach him or her anything. I have great time-management skills, which I learned while earning an International Baccalaureate IB Diploma in high school, and I can teach these to my students. I also learned to enjoy my classes so that my work didn't seem like a job, but an opportunity. Your education should be the most important thing to you, and I can show you how to enjoy it so that you actually take interest in it; this, in itself, will help you drastically to learn any subject.
