I'm an experienced tutor who spent three years helping students master key concepts in their courses with the federal TRiO program, and I've now been tutoring with WyzAnt for another two years. I've always enjoyed helping others learn, and as far back as I can remember, I was always the one my friends came to for help with their homework. Most of my tutoring work to date has been with math and computer-related subjects, but I'm also quite knowledgeable in a variety of other areas including history and grammar. I taught myself HTML back in high school, and I've been using it ever since on personal, freelance, and professional projects. I'm familiar with both modern standards compliant XHTML/CSS2 layouts as well as the older tabular style. I've also worked on projects with significant amounts of DHTML/DOM scripting. I'm familiar with many common cross-browser rendering issues.

Web Design

I began designing websites in my spare time during high school, and I've been working as a web developer since I graduated college. I also took a few web design classes while in school. C++

I've been programming in C++ for about five years now. I used it for a number of projects I completed while in school, including the course-long final project I did for my concentration in computer graphics. I tutored a number of students in C++ during my time tutoring with TRiO. I'm very familiar with C++ syntax, the Object Oriented design process, and common mistakes students make when writing C++ programs.
