I have been tutoring students in various subjects for over a decade. I have helped students with a variety of subjects, with the most experience in math (up through Algebra I) and writing skills.

For any students that I tutor, early sessions begin primarily with help with homework assignments to help identify particular areas that need help, then as such areas are identified we may focus less on school assignments and more on different drills and sample work to help improve problem areas.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have extensive experience working with elementary-aged students. I have worked one-on-one with students to improve their reading, spelling, grammar, and basic math skills, and have also worked in an after-school setting helping groups of elementary school students complete their homework and build their skills. With elementary school-aged children, I understand that focus can sometimes be difficult, so I try to incorporate games and creative activities to help make learning fun.
