Hello Students and Parents,

I am the best tutor ever! I am also highly qualified in several subjects.

BACKGROUND: I have a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and Astronomy (double major) and a minor in mathematics from the University of Washington 2007. I have taught a wide range of mathematics from elementary to more advanced calculus, and first year physics at the university level with great success. I currently tutor first and second year astronomy students at the university level. I also have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with many years of experience in ICU/CCU and teaching. I assist with topics such as anatomy, physiology and complicated nursing questions. I currently hold two medical patents, have written several papers, and can help you with both creative and scientific writing and vocabulary skills. I have many talents and would like to share them with you. I am also an accomplished pianist and teach piano.

MY APPROACH: Study skills are very important. I assist the student with several important topics: homework, organizational skills and taking notes, preparing for exams and helping them to understand the subjects with examples from every day life. I teach beyond the questions that students ask. I give them ideas on how to best learn the subject and remember what they have learned. It is important for students to feel accomplished in a subject that may be difficult for them.
