was always important to me, but for a while, only as a hobby. I never planned to turn it into my future - not until my mom reminded me that I could be anything I wanted with enough "umph". So, here I am, doing what I love. Photography has become my passion. My camera and I are attached at the hip. It took me a while to realize that I could turn what I always loved into a career. But now, I don't have a typical job that I dread going to each day - I get to wake up knowing that I will enjoy working and following my dreams.
I completed my college education at Antonelli Institute of Art
and Photography in Pennsylvania. During my time there, I became skilled in both Adobe Photoshop
and Lightroom, as well as mastering both film
and digital camera functionality and lighting techniques. After graduation, I moved to Washington to be with my fiance.
Back in PA, I worked for a local studio for about three years. After having a wonderful experience there, I started my own photography business
, Antonelli's Photography, LLC (no relation to the school). Antonelli's Photography was named for my role models and grandparents, Thomas and Marie Antonelli. I began photographing events for a local high school, and soon, I branched out to senior portraits, weddings, and even a little volunteer work with Canine Companions for Independence and a local cat rescue.
Canine Companions for Independence was an ongoing experience. I did not start out photographing for them; I took home an 8 week old puppy that I raised to work as a service dog. After taking home my fifth puppy, I began photographing some of their events. With the cat rescue, I started out photographing the adoptable cats for their website. And then, before I knew it, I had a beautiful cat named Max, moving in with me. If you can't already tell, I am a sucker for animals!
A copy of my portfolio can be furnished upon request to that you can get a feel for the type of work I am capable of.
