I was raised in a bilingual household with a Cuban mother and Nicaraguan father. I currently teach at a bilingual elementary school. I am originally from Miami, Fl, but moved to the Northwest after living in Mexico for one year. There, I was the director of the Language Department for a school grades 1 -12. I have been teaching for 5 years and always try to be patient and compassionate with my students. I think it is a wonderful gift to learn languages other than one's native tongue and I am honored to be able to help any student on that journey. I offer challenging yet practical work. My goal is to help the student fall in love with the language, which is the best way to learn. I look forward to being able to work with you!
