I am Masters Graduate in Accounting, with a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies emphasizing Math, English, and Business Management. I began tutoring Math, English, Science, and History in 1990, while in middle school and I have continued to tutor since.

I enjoy tutoring and seeing my student learn and grow in confidence. My two most recent tutoring jobs have been in medical calculations and writing, with a nursing student in Edgewood, and math, science, history, and English with an eighth grader in Federal Way.

My tutoring and teaching method is learning about my students learning style and communication method and employ the teaching and communication style that is the most effective for them. This allows me to tailor lessons to the students strengths and make it relevant to their interests, building their confidence in learning and most importantly themselves.

Algebra was the first subject I started tutoring more than twenty years ago and the subject I have most often tutored. Algebra is an important stepping stone to more advanced math and is easily taught (and learned) when kept simple.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
