I have been successful in my life and my life's work. When I was in college, I was doing a work study program tutoring math. It was not long before I had several students coming to see me on a daily basis. As a result of my success with the math lab, I was asked by the head of the math department to work individually with students who had math anxiety and learning disabilities. That is how I began my journey into the art of tutoring. I was given specific course work that taught me to recognize peoples learning styles and how to maximize their potential for success. I feel that it is important to identify an individuals strengths and use those strengths to achieve their academic goals. Additionally it is equally important to identify what may be blocking an individual from attaining the success they would like to see. That is why my approach works. It's not just about the books and time spent studying. There is more to attaining your personal goals. I am retired from my primary occupation and enjoy a more leisurely schedule now, but I would still like to make a contribution and this is my way of doing it. I can help you be successful and attain the highest level possible. Don't leave the difficult challenges till the end of your program get through them now and nothing can hold you back. The areas I cover are not just limited to math and science but include foreign languages, test taking skills, better study habits, special learning tools and techniques that will bind the information you need into your memory so that it is available to you when you need to pass a test or write a paper. My approach is step by step and based on a methodology that works whether you are currently very successful or currently struggling. I have never seen it fail yet. Let's work together to realize your academic goals. It's fun to win.
